This smoothie will boost your daily vitamin C intake. It has two separate layers, so it looks pretty too.
Ingredients
Banana Strawberry Layer
1 frozen banana
½ cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk
1tsp honey
½ cup frozen strawberries
¼ cup non-fat plain Greek yoghurt
Pineapple Mango Layer
½ cup frozen pineapple
½ cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk
1tsp honey
½ cup frozen mango
¼ cup non-fat plain Greek yoghurt
Instructions
1. Place all the ingredients for the pineapple mango layer into the blender and blend until creamy and smooth. Portion evenly between two glasses and place in the freezer.
2. Rinse the blender and place all the ingredients for the banana strawberry layer into the blender. Blend until creamy and smooth. Pour over the pineapple mango layer and serve immediately.
If you wish, top the smoothie with shredded coconut.
