Free Kids Day – Giving Back to Our Community
18 Sept 2022 adminDiverse Dental is thrilled to announce another Free Kids Day, our opportunity to support the community that supports us. As our community gradually returns to normal after the turmoil of the past couple of years, we know that many local kids are still behind with their regular checkups and preventive dental care and that their dental health might be suffering.
Our Free Kids Day is a chance to provide dental care to those most in need in our community, and our dentist Dr Naomi Hollander feels very strongly about giving back. It is our chance to say a big Thank You to the community and provide high-quality dental care to children under fifteen.
At Diverse Dental, we believe every child is entitled to such care, and no one should be disadvantaged due to a lack of finance.
The Importance of Early Dental Care
Dr Hollander knows that good oral hygiene and good habits should begin at an early age, and it is important for children to feel comfortable when visiting the dentist. When we see a child while they are still young, we can quickly detect any early signs of tooth decay and provide appropriate treatment, hopefully well before a child can experience discomfort or pain. These early dental visits also allow us to closely monitor the growth and development of a child’s teeth and jaws. Treating problems such as overcrowding or an incorrect bite can help reduce the complexity and length of treatment later on.
About our Free Kids Day
During our Free Kids Day, our entire dental team is here to help kids, providing same-day general procedures for children who have booked appointments. These procedures include general checkups, cleans, and treatments for dental problems like tooth decay. We can also provide lots of useful advice on dental care for parents and older children. All the treatments and care provided are of the same high standard as the care given daily at our dental practice.
Giving Every Child a Warm Welcome
Diverse Dental is a warm, welcoming practice where our friendly staff go out of their way to create a safe, comfortable dental home for everyone, especially our younger patients. We know that visiting a dental practice might initially seem overwhelming or scary, so we strive to ensure visits are as pleasant as possible, treating children as gently as if they were our own. Dr Naomi Hollander is an extremely kind dentist with over thirty years of experience, so you can be sure your child is in good hands.
If you are concerned about your child’s dental health and would like them to see our dentist on our Free Kids Day, please contact our practice to book their appointment. We try to see as many children as possible on this day, but if we cannot fit your child in at this time, we will give them a slot next time. These days are a regular event at our practice.
